As one would imagine, Half Moon offers an array of aquatic adventures — and perhaps none is more magical than our Dolphin Lagoon.

Jamaica Water Sports and Beach Activities

Snorkel, sail, dive, wind surf, water ski, kayak and cruise the Caribbean during your vacation. The choice is yours at Half Moon. Our aquatic experts, Captain’s Water Sports and Dive Centre, provide everything from equipment to certified instructors, as well as offering nearby dive sites that teem with a variety of fish, coral and caverns.

Certain non-motorised water sports are included for guests staying at Half Moon. The included activities are snorkeling, kayaks, pedal boats, and beach floats (lilos). For those guests looking for a little more you can opt for some sailing options such as Hobi Wave, Sunfish, Sailing, Windsurfing and Banana Boat rides.

Motorised water sports are available at Sunrise Beach and include parasailing, boat trips, water-skiing, tubing, banana boat rides, wakeboard, kneeboard, and glass bottom boat tours. Also available are special boat charters and deep sea fishing.

The Half Moon Captain's Water Sports and Dive Centre is our personalised diving facility that caters to all your individual diving needs. Diving activities include dive trips to unique locations, equipment rentals, SCUBA diving lessons, PADI open water certification, PADI "Sassy" for kids and other specialty courses.

How to Book Water Sports and Activities

All Beach & Pool activities can be reserved prior to your vacation by contacting our Pre-arrival Concierge or directly at prearrivalconcierge@halfmoon.com or calling our contact centre at 1-888-830-5974. Beach & Pool activities may also be reserved upon arrival.

Pools

Hibiscus Pool and Swim-up Pool Bar

The Hibiscus Pool is most well-known for our swim-up pool bar where guests can enjoy refreshing cocktails while cooling off in the water.

Olympic Lap Pool

Located directly east of the Hibiscus Pool, our Olympic-sized Lap Pool is the ideal place to work on your freestyle and backstroke.

Oleander Pool

This kidney-shaped pool resides in the Oleander Terrace and is a great place to get away from it all. The perfect place to enjoy a relaxing hour or so floating peacefully.
