The Fern Tree Fitness Centre is equipped with recumbent and upright bikes, treadmills, elliptical trainers, and life step machines.

This state of the art fitness centre also includes free weights, leg press, leg extension, leg curl, lat pull-down, seated row, assisted dip and chin, multi-function station, vertical knee raise, pec/rear deltoid machine, a Smith machine, power rack, Olympic benches, abdominal board, and pulley cross-over.
The Fitness Centre will be closed from 25 August until late November 2014 for refurbishment and the installation of new equipment. During this period a smaller selection of equipment will be available in the neighbouring Hype Zone.
Half Moon Jamaica is now the Caribbean’s first officially licensed Spinning® resort. Equipped with 10 Spinner® Pro bikes and a state-of-the-art sound system in a specially designed studio, guests can choose from three unique tours developed by Spin® veteran Barbara Hoots. With certified instructors and music that begs your legs to pedal, guests will experience a virtual tour of Jamaica through uplifting music and expert coaching.
The bikes are equipped with gel seat covers and dual-sided pedals featuring SPD cleat compatibility to accommodate both athletic and cycling shoes. Comfortable workout clothes, a water bottle, and a sense of adventure are all you need to ride your way to a leaner, stronger body.
Our master yoga instructors are trained in several disciplines including Prana Flow, Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Sivananda and Aqua, offering a variety of yoga classes of varying intensities and skill levels, from beginner to expert. Classes are held at various times during the day and with a number of locations to choose from.
In addition to yoga, Pilates classes are available in the fitness center at Half Moon. Low-impact Pilates workouts are a great way to strengthen lower back and abdominal muscles to promote better balance, posture, and overall health. The expert Pilates instructors who teach at Half Moon’s fitness centre can guide you through one of our several daily classes so that you can continue on your course to health and wellness while on vacation in Jamaica.
The fitness classes at Half Moon are well known around the island as some of the best available.
